floppy stroke

put hand on someone's head and let it drop down to person's shoulders, repeat

*Jack looks at me, puts his hand on my head and lets it drop down to my shoulders. He repeats*.. "Is this how affection works?!"
Only way I could describe that action of apparent affection is a "floppy stroke".
