Something parents say when they will be gone for a long time.

(ex:They go and hang out with someone for 3 hours and then go to the store for 1 hour)

Words you can keep
Noun. An expedition involving the acquisition of some good, usually perceived as essential, when in fact completely unnecessary. Because errands involve a component of travel, they are often confused for a leisure activity. From the root, errant, aimless.

errand circle

Completing various errands that require one to travel all over one's town, often in no particular order, and with new errands popping up in between the ones that were planned ahead of time. The location of the stops do not necessarily make a circle, and stopping at one particular place more than once can be considered part of the circle.
Man, I covered every street in town with that errand circle, and I must've stopped at Wal-Mart at least three times!

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
