Casino dealers work 1 hour on, 20 minutes off - when your last break falls at the end of your shift, you get out of work 20 minutes early. Dealers will fight, plead, wheel & deal for the "early out".

Pit Boss: Has anyone seen Carmen?

Floorman: She's gone for the day, she got the early out.

Check racker: That Bitch got it twice already this week!

Early Out.

Employees (usually casino dealers) can request to go home early if there are more employees on duty than needed near the end of their shift. If they aren't needed they can get an Early Out.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow at 9. I could realy use an Early Out.

"There seemed to be a lull in their conversation, and then he just started yanking his thumb around," said patron David Cantrall, who was seated adjacent to Rothkowitz's table at the D&R; Steakhouse. "He didn't even preface it with something like, 'Hey, guess what I can do?'" Rothkowitz was reportedly unable to salvage the evening by shooting milk out of his eye. He was breaking it out to early.
