Ebay user who wait until three seconds before the end of an auction to put in their bid, giving others no chance of reacting. It's generally though of as unfair practise on ebay.

Person who snipes (outbids) others on eBay with 3 seconds left or less by increments less than a dollar.

Person 1: Dude this auction is over in 6..5..4 seconds! This ducktape wallet is mine! 3..2..1..

Act of being outbid on Ebay with 3 seconds left in an auction by an increment less than that of a dollar.
