Duckitis

A sudden case of amnesia you come down with that cause you to duck the person or people you owe money to.
You already ran out of people to sweet talk out of their money.

I have a job.

Really doing what?

I don’t exactly have the job yet but I’m practically a shoe-in.

Well “Miss shoe-in” when you do get this job you make sure you remember to pay me back my money. Don’t develop a sudden case of Duckitis because I don’t have a problem coming to your “job” to collect my ducketts.

Genuine Dickies

Genuine Dickies - discount Dickies sold by walmart .

Genuine Dickies is an entirely separate brand from the popular Dickies cloth brand. However, they produce and sell apparel that the latter company sells, at a cheaper price, to penetrate the market and reach more buyers.

You should understand that with Genuine Dickies there is likely a sacrifice of quality .

Genuine Dickies vs Dickies

The Dickies logo is in the form of an oval shape, with a Bold “D” affixed into it, a Dickies inscription running on a straight line.

On the other hand, Genuine Dickies Logo comes in the form of a parallelogram, split into two sides, with the Genuine written on one half of the logo, and Dickies written on the other half

The truth is that Genuine Dickies produce wears that are also manufactured by Dickies, a similar popular cloth brand, but at a more affordable price .
Cody : hey what are genuine dickies

And how are they different from regular dickies ?

Larry: You should understand that with Genuine Dickies there is likely a sacrifice of quality .

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
