Subliminally expressing dislike, discomfort, & or disappointment towards a person or an issue while concealing the true intent of the expression

(I.e.) "I don't know why she would wear something like that, I'm not "dry shading" but I wouldn't be caught dead in that; but it looks good on her though".

dry shaving 

The process of shaving (usually your face) without any water or shaving foam.

Highly uncomfortable and undesirable, but often essential when you're in a rush to get somewhere, and remember you haven't shaved that day.

"What happened to your chin mate?"
"Forgot I had that job interview this morning, woke up late and had to rush out of the house."
"So what's with the chin?"
"Ah, I had to resort to dry shaving"

"Fancy a night out? If we're quick we can catch the metro/subway/train/bus in for cheap?"
"Yeah I'm game, just let me grab a dry shave"

An expression used when something really sucks/you cant believe something is really happening. This phrase is used instead of "Your kidding me"
