day ferrit 

“day ferrit” is a shortening of “day for it”. Commonly used in aussie slang, meaning it is a good day to do the thing you are doing. It is most commonly said when the conditions are good and you are about to go out for a surf.

Henry: Ohhh mate did you see that wave.
Duncan: Yeah mate.. day ferrit.
