Management who is clueless and breezes in, sprinkles their leadership onto the poor worker who are stuck trying to implement foolish or damaging ideas. Also management who lays off whole groups of workers, running the business into the ground, ala Circuit City.
Our programming department replied with a resounding "NO" when some clueless member of `damagement` tried to put a print button on the on-line manual.

Damaging is an adjective; it means causing physical damage or having a detrimental effect on someone or something. So if someone is given the cold shoulder or sent to Coventry it can be damaging to their health and well-being. If someone is given a smack in the chops for no reason, this can affect their emotional well-being as well as being physically damaging.
