gym uniforms

nasty clothing they make you wear during gym class. usually some gross basketball shorts and a t-shirt. it sucks a lot for girls, since we have to shave everyday in the middle of the winter just for that half hour of gym class. and then there are those days when the gym teachers will make you change for gym so they can talk the whole class. gym uniforms really suck.

School uniforms suck because everyone has to dress the same. At my school, our clothing was our only way of self- expression, now they've taken that away from us. Matching clothes, natural hair color, no visible piercings. What's next?

Cuneiform

A system of writing in which wedge-shape symbols represented words or syllables. It originated in Mesopotamia and was used initially for Sumerian and Akkadian but later was adapted to represent other languages of western Asia. Because so many symbols had to be learned, literacy was confined to a relatively small group of administrators and scribes.

Because the reed made wedge-shaped impressions, the early pictures, which were more or less realistic, evolved into stylized combinations of strokes and wedges, a system known as cuneiform writing.

Cunicorse

A Cunicorse, is one third Horse, one third Cow and one third Unicorn. The Cunicorse origanly could only be found in the state of Alaska, but now they can be purchased commonly at any Cunicorse stable, More likely to be seen in Canada or Alaska though.

Acute coniform stenosis (ACS)

The medical term for the narrowing of an arterial road by coning off all but one lane thus slowing traffic to a crawl. A serious and incurable paroxysmal condition frequently presenting on a Friday evening when we're all trying to get home from work in the rush hour. Symptoms usually involve the pointless deposition of cones earlier the same day by highway maintenance crews having absolutely no intention of carrying out their work until the following Monday. As the disease progresses it becomes clear that their aim is to cause maximum buggeration over the nation's hard-earned weekend break.

Frightfully sorry, old girl. Stuck in a jam. M25's gone down with a bad dose of Acute coniform stenosis (ACS) so won't be home 'till late. Have my slippers, paper and a nice fat spliff waiting by my chair. Top hole and tally ho, what!

school uniforms

Used to promote a sense of unity among students, and keep other kids from getting picked on for not being able to wear all the latest fasion designs and saves parents from having to spend millions on school shopping. Doesn't rob students of their individuality, but teaches them how to dress respectfully and find other ways to be individual. It's a good idea if its introduced to students the right way and not heavily regulated.

Person 1: School uniforms supress our individuality.
Person 2: No, it stops us from judging by appearances all the time and teaches us how to be individuals aside from our appearance. It only sucks if you have to where them for the entire school year, every single day. You should get used to it seeing as most jobs these days have dress codes and/or require their employees to wear uniforms.
