Cosmo Girl 

A slightly deformed young woman with profoundly wide jawbones.

Usually selected by a Dyke who operates in the background of a widely distributed women's magazine, she is selected to be on the cover and she will be recognized by having distracting eye and lip makeup.

Paradoxically, this distraction from her jaw deformity is attractive to (or ignored by) many normal, middle-class, female magazine purchasers, and such magazines profit well from the display of their osteo-warped models. Some even go on to become movie stars despite their handicaps.

Often classified as a fetish, the best explanation is that Dykes somehow are attracted to wide jaws in females as a faux masculine trait, and thereby acceptable where a genuine male jaw would not.

Good grief Herbert, gouge out my eyes! Look at that Cosmo Girl on the rack there!

a cosmo girl is a young woman who takes a leading role in all aspects of her life. she is typically a beautiful, sexually active and single woman in her early twenties to mid thirties who lives in the city and holds a corporate/executive office job. "alpha female" would be a good name for her. she is financially secure and doesn't require a man's advice/assistance in her life at all. he is simply there to act as fluff for moments when she's not busy going clubbing, hitting up fancy cocktail lounges, or having girl trips with her friends. she is the perfect sexual minx in the sack and knows exactly how to treat her man right (if she chooses to settle down with one). she's physically fit and keeps up on all of the latest celebrity gossip, style trends, and pop culture knowledge.

Anna Wintour, the leading editor for Vogue, is a Cosmo Girl in her own right simply because she is the head of an empire that makes millions of dollars.

cosmogirl 

A magazine off spin of Cosmopolitan, for the younger ages. While the word "girl" might make you believe it is for 9 or 10 year olds, it does have some stuff that wouldn't be suitable for that age group.

"Did you read the article in Cosmogirl about boob jobs?"

"YEAH! I rally liked the thing about STDS!!"
