Someone who inadvertently traps someone into a boring or annoying conversation.

Every time I go out to a cocktail party I end up bumping into the converapist at the party who insists on talking to me about politics for 3 hours.

Conversapist- The one who doesn't spark a conversation but rather force-fucks it.

A: Hey, what you do last week?
B: Nothing, just went to 24 hr fitness.
(Enters conversation unannounced) C: Ahh, I hate 24 hour fitness. They have completely shunned the traditional American gym system and substituted it with sub-par customer service and mediocre pop music...

A: ... Erhm

B: ... *sigh* Fucking conversapist.
