Someone looking for acknowledgement from a un-needed flex. Looking for an ego stroke by posting something or saying something to get likes. Hoping for clout that would eventually make them look bigger and more attractive and powerful than reality says they are.

Heather was clout-fishing by posting her massive Crypto Gains in Discord over and over again.

She was caught clout-fishing on her Instagram posts by re-posting someone else's photos.
