Noun: Not quite pants, not quite shorts, only for men, only is beige.
Noun: The type of laughter that is silent then turns into a series of grunts.

This originated in Minneapolis, a group of kids wore the same set of shorts/pants everyday, and always made this kid laugh the same kind of way. Thus, his laugh matched the sound "Chortle" and "Chortle" acurately described the pant/shorts.

Chotles

When (over text) you are talking to a person and when they mean to say clothes, they miss-spell it and spell Chotles. Usually when one spells Chotles the other person will mistake it for a mexican food or dish, making both people seem stupid at the end.

A: Im cleaning my Choltes
B: You cleaning your food?
A: What do you mean?
B: About what you just said?
A: About my clothes?
B: You said Chotles!
