A fictional character that you're immensely emotionally attached to. People with comfort characters tend to fantasize scenario's in their head with their "comfort character", giving them a feeling of wellness and comfort (hence the "comfort"). A pale, usually white haired woobie bishonen character who is (or at least pretends to be) very innocent and soft-spoken.
They are usually the youngest members of the group and serve as the heart, if they arent the youngest or are in a darker setting, they sometimes are (or pretend to be) dominant and manipulative and serve as the head instead, or both.

A: "I just started playing this game called Omori, Basil is such a Maidan character!"

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.

DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...
Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.
DM: You murderhobos disgust me.
