canadian shotgun

Something Canadians used to defend their homes and families with, until the country went commie. Now almost as rare as rocking-horse shit.
Wow! Is that a real silver dollar? Those are as rare as a Canadian shotgun!

Canadian shotgun wedding

When a couple unexpectedly get pregnant and they say, "Why not?" and just move in together and maybe a few years down the road quietly get married and nobody says much aboot it. Eh?
"So how did you two meet?" "Oh, we were drunk and our birth control failed, eh? So we figured we'd have a Canadian shotgun wedding."

"Will there be a lot of people at your wedding?" "No, just immediate family, eh?. Didn't want to make a big fuss 'cause it's a Canadian shotgun wedding."

True Canadian Shotgun

A True Canadian Shotgun (TCS) is the best pick-me-up for any time of the day. Although this shot gun uses Tim Hortons coffee instead of beer there is still some alcohol involved. A TCS is made up of three liquids: Tims coffee in a Tims to-go cup (as mentioned before), Canadian maple syrup, and Canadian rye whisky (preferably Crown Royal).

To do a TCS you first make sure the lid to your coffee is on well, then flip the cup upside down and poke a hole into the cup, just like you would if you were shotgunning normally. Then add a shot of whisky to the coffee and shotgun away. After you have shotgunned the coffee and whisky mixture use Maple Syrup as a chaser.

A good drinking game to play is whenever you see a moose you have to do a True Canadian Shotgun. (Best played when in Newfoundland)
Dean: Damn Jack you seem really down.
Jack: Stephanie just dumped me because I’ve been bangin the noodle to much.
Dean: Harsh man, here come do a True Canadian Shotgun with me and you’ll feel better.

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.

countrypolitan

Term used to describe someone who is a mix of both rural (country) and urban (metropolitan) lifestyles/upbringings. He/she is typically equally comfortable in both settings and is able to seamlessly slip back and forth between the two, appreciating the characteristics of each.
That ol' gal of mine drives the 12 lane freeway during the week and a John Deere on the weekends. She likes opra and the Grand Ol' Opry. I love them countrypolitan women.
