A bookmobile or mobile library is a large vehicle designed for use as a library. They are designed to hold books on shelves so that when the vehicle is parked the books can be accessed by readers. They usually have sufficient space so that people can also sit and read books inside them.
The vehicle driven by an individual who is offered every job they apply for. Especially used in instances of persons working in the performing arts who "book" several jobs in a row.

Y'know, da concept of "bookmobile vs. boobmobile" might not be such a crazy idea, after all --- if they had one or more chesty chicks operate and staff said tomes-stocked bus, and promised guys dat dey would each get to feel up said well-endowed cuties for a few minutes in exchange for every book dat dey read, local literacy and readership would likely skyrocket!
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
