1. A heavy insult used to describe someone who is a total failure across the board. It means they have negative stats in everything, like low intelligence, terrible skill, zero talent, etc. (A combination of "bomboclaat" and "rasclat", emphasizing an "ass splitter" meaning).
2. A general swear word used to express sudden pain, shock, or anger when not directed at anyone in particular (similar to shouting "fuck!" or "shit!").
3. An expression of mild disappointment (similar to saying "damn..."), or used purely as a meaningless vocal stim or filler word just because it's funny to say.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
