adcypher

Verb.
To translate a cypher or hidden message when not all information is given. Used when figuring out a puzzle by putting together a code.
It is different from deciphering because deciphering means you already have the entire code to decipher.

Synonyms are: decipher, work out, unravel, put together

After trying for a long time I adcyphered the bits of the code.
