yogababble

Spiritual-sounding language used by companies to sell product or make their brand more compelling on an emotional level. Coined specifically about WeWork’s IPO prospectus in 2019, which was full of phrases like “elevate the world’s consciousness” and at the same time showed problematic financials. Yogababble is intended to disguise or compensate for practical or financial weaknesses in a business or product.

Coined by Scott Galloway in his piece “Yogababble” on his No Mercy / No Malice blog.
That’s a bunch of yogababble. How will your company actually solve world hunger?

Youandhiom

A misspelling of the word “euonym”, the winning word from the 1997 national spelling bee.

In the animated television series Metalocalypse, bassist William Murderface, while practicing for his appearance on celebrity spelling bee, insists that he is a great speller despite the fact that he spells everything wrong.

Also an example of the meaning of the actual word, euonym; a name well suited for a person, place, or thing. William is described as being hideously ugly and grotesque, thus making his last name, Murderface, a euonym.
Murderface: Y-O-U-A-N-D-H-I-O-M… youandhiom.

Murderface: Hey, I don't care how wrong it is. Just admit it; I'm a great speller and it burns you.

Toki: You're not a great speller! You got to spell right to be a speller!

A derogatory term to describe the new urban hipster who practices yoga, and can be seen wandering the city streets fourbucks latte in one hand, cellphone in the other, yogamat slung over their shoulder.
As I entered the coffee shop, two "yogabonds" with rolled yogamats slung over shoulder rudely pushed their way past me gibbering about chakras as they guzzled their lattes in a mad rush to get to the nearby Yoga studio and "relax".

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
