Retelling of an event done in such a way that tries to distance the person in from culpability, to the point where they try to appear the victim.
Manager: "Becky was crying when she came in and told me you snapped on her and was aggressive when she asked you to help her with the project."

Co-worker: Becky is Whitetellin again. She demanded I do the project myself, and when I reminded her that it was suppose to be done by her, and that she was not my manager, she began to yell at me and told me she was gonna tell you that I was aggressive with her."
