Whitesploitation 

A genre of art, film, literature that exploits the culture of white people for commercial gain or to explore underlying social problems. Much as Blaxsploitation did in the 1970's, Whitesploitation may use stereotypes such as white trash, red necks, the suburban nuclear family, hippies, refined urban dwellers and hipsters. Themes may include drugs, gentrification, culture vacuum, race guilt, and uptight people.

There's a new Whitesploitation film about a suburban family.

Whitesploitation 

Following the massive wake-up call of the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks the long history of political and social bifurcation of White cultural society in the U.S. accelerated. And, the result was the rise of two distinct sub-groups: the insular, and the meta-aware. As a culture White America had up to that point been largely unconscious of their culture and preferences, or even that they had a distinct culture and/or preferences. After 9/11 an en-mass self-awareness of white Americanness was born in the meta-aware. A genre of film and media sprung up in the aftermath of the attacks to serve this large, newly-minted group. This genre is Whitesploitation.

-Did you go and see the new Wes Anderson movie?

-Why would I want to go and watch a bunch of White wannabes struggle with the sudden recognition of the meaning of their cultural selves. That's Whitesploitation!

-Uh yeah, but you're white, dude. Don't you like struggling with the recognition of the meaning of your cultural self?

-True. Seeing that flick would be so meta.

Whitesploitation 

A sub-genre of cinema created primarily by WASP-s, (i.e. those who are: White, American, Straight, and have a Penis), for WASP-s. Typically features a "hot" female protagonist and a generally a cast of white English-speaking Americans. Traditionally Whitesploitation films are pointless shot-per-shot or copy-&-paste remakes of preexisting Asian or Hispanic films bordering on professional plagiarism or legal forgeries.

Made primarily for three reasons:

1. Asians and Hispanics apparently aren't quite white enough to fit the "standards" of many WAPS-s.

2. Dubs aren't American enough for many WASP-s and having to read subtitles or, "Gasp!", learn another language, is too hard for many of them.

and most of all,

3. To create shitty direct-to-video sequels based-off their "original" creation and desperately attempt to profit from pale imitations of something that was never theirs to begin with.

Have you seen the meaningless Whitesploitation version of either Ringu, Kairo, Juon, or REC, or any of their crappy sequels?

whitesploitation 

An exploitation film or book where white people invade and exploit non-white natives. They may nuke, rape and torture the inhabitants and make them slaves. So the whites can take over the land.

Dances With Wolves, Pocahontas, The Last Samurai, Avatar are one of the few examples of Whitesploitation films.
