A weather woody is the state of excitement or arousal that TV weather men work themselves into when there is the possibility of a "snow event" or similar weather condition.

When the first "snow event" occurs, the local weather man seeks refuge behind the official News Center Weather Desk in an attempt to conceal his weather woody.
