A small area of South London (UK) often referred to as a Gay Ghetto. Has a mix of predominantly poor Local Authority Housing with extensive social problems (drug dealing, crime) mixed with affluent bought to let properties where the pink pound has infilltrated due to it being the cheapest area to live.
Has been replaced as the new Earl's Court of the 80's since the demise of the Coleherne pub but without the Victorian Architecture. Is the main Club/Party area for Gay men in London even has its own gay gym. NOT a safe area at night and visitors/tourists should be aware. Similar to bad parts of LA. Also known as SW8 or Oval.
