Vagabonding 

A term used to define anything that is done in the process of moving house that enables the participants to connect. This includes, but is not limited to, leaving a gift for the people who are moving into your old house, baking cookies for your new neighbors or helping a friend with removals.

"Now that I've taken the new neighbors a casserole I feel that we're really vagabonding."
