Urizone

Pronounced /OO-ree Zōn/
Noun forms: The Urizone - Verb forms: to urizone, urizoned, urizones, urizoning
alternative usage/spelling: lockerzone

urizone

A much, much deeper madrega than the “freindzone” (to regard someone solely as a friend, despite their unreciprocated romantic interest). There is an important nafka minah between the “freindzone” and the “urizone”: With enough effort, one can escape the “freindzone”. Escaping the urizone, however, is a “nechtiger tog”, an impossible task. Thus, to urizone someone is an even more drastic step than friendzoning someone.

Word usage over time: First popularized in April-June, 2020.
Etymology: /oo-ree/ is from Biblical Hebrew, /zon/ from late Middle English: from French, or from Latin zona ‘girdle’, from Greek zōnē .

Usage in a Sentence:
Shaniqua was a serial urizoner, she had urizoned 5 different people in the span of two days.
