Urban Beer

Cheap, high-alcohol (8-10%) beer. Usually sold in 24oz cans in the sketchier parts of town. Expect to pay from $1.25-$2.00 for a can. Also expect the flavor of said beer to slightly resemble that of cat urine. Purchased purely for the favorable cost/alcohol content ratio. In another words, a cheap-ass way to get hammered.
Friend A: Hey, Holmes, let's roll up into Pontiac to score us some nasty urban beer.

Friend B: I only got $5 dude, what kinda beer can we get for that?

Friend A: Only like 3 frickin' cans of Camo - the undisputed king of the Urban Beer!

Friend B: Tru' dat, let me get my ghetto on.

urbaneering

Playing in the outdoors in an urban setting - parks, open space, trails, walking between art galleries, museums, and shops; dining al fresco - anything without a ceiling. Just because you live in the city doesn't mean you have to be a couch potato!
Chet - "It's a beautiful day and we're here in town - let's go to some galleries and stuff!"

Kay - "Yeah, let's do some intense urbaneering."

Urbaneer

Contraction of "Urban" and "Pioneer"

An URBANEER is an influencer/early-adopter within the Millennial Generation, establishing themselves as part of a live/work community in a city. They are part of the rising Creative Class, are usually described as Hipsters, and are leading the migration away from suburban living.
Chase moved from Brooklyn to Portland to Silverlake in, like, less than three years since almost-finishing at Swarthmore. He's a total Urbaneer.

He's all about his Macbook Air, his bike, and stealing wifi. That dude will never buy a house in the 'burbs.

Urbaneering

The art and practice of adventuring through urban environments with the mindset, physicality, and creativity of mountaineering. It involves exploring cities—rooftops, alleyways, hidden spaces, or infrastructure—like a mountain, using skills like parkour, climbing, or creative navigation to uncover the city’s secrets and push personal boundaries.
Urbaneering transforms cityscapes into thrilling playgrounds, as adventurers scale skyscrapers and navigate alleyways with the daring spirit of mountaineers.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
