Up The Wahs!!

A term used proudly by supporters of the WARRIORS who are a team in the NRL.

The term means ‘go the warriors’, with wahs being the shortened term of warriors.
It is the famous catch cry of fans and band wagoners alike, who have always or have just started supporting the warriors during their fantastic 2023 season.

The term is so good and catchy that Panthers and Broncos fans have been caught trying to steal it with ‘Up The Pahs’ or ‘Up The Bahs’. All spin-offs have been shutdown, with other teams owners apologising to the Warriors.

It will always and only be ‘Up The Wahs!!’ 💚💙❤️
Commentator: The Warriors have scored in the corner, it’s a DWZ hat trick!!
Supporter: fuck yeah, up the Wahs!!! UP THE FUCKEN WAHS!!!

Words you can keep

Up the Wahs

A saying proudly exclaimed by fans of the New Zealand Warriors, one of the teams that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition played in Australia and New Zealand.

The basic meaning is "Go the Warriors!", with "Wahs" being short for "Warriors".

The saying is taken from the term "up the wazoo" which usually describes an excessive amount of something (literally, "up the arse"). But obviously the meaning has been modified to fit the Warriors.
"Are you gonna watch the Warriors game tonight?"

"Hell yeah, up the Wahs!"
