Travel Channel 

A television channel launched in in 1987 that focuses on cool places to visit around the world without you actually having to go there. The channel is following the route of other specialty channels putting out more and more loosely related programming, but it has some good shows.

Dude, this guy ate seven pounds of fish last night on TV.

A person who watches tv shows that take you to exotic locations to experience unique cultures and interesting people. You know that you will never get to go to many of these locations, but you live vicariously through the show. travel channel, Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, Samantha Brown, David Attenborough, exotic locations, culture, travel, explore, discover

I don't have the money to do a lot of traveling, so I sit at home turn on the tv and become a travel channel traveler.
