Theresa Syndrome

When you have exhibited behaviour that is similar to that of a Theresa. Typically, this is fun, happy, having a good time and smiling. Theresa Syndrome will sometimes describe someone who is having a laughing fit. It can also be used to describe someone who is likable, cute and kind.

Theresa Syndrome is a good thing to have.

Mother Teresa Syndrome

1. Mental health condition suffered by the overly religious whereby the religious, actively deny treatment or medications to facilitate increased suffering.

2. The imposition of suffering, denial of treatment, or services, to those who you are responsible to care for with the expressed intent of increasing misery or hastening death. (see betrayal trauma)

3. The imposition of religious beliefs to increase suffering in the efforts to elicit pleasure in the person denying, or reserving access to treatment or services.
When I presented the case for a need for an antidepressant to my doctor, after my mom died, he got all 'Mother Teresa Syndrome" on me and said, "You need to experience this without drugs so you can grieve properly."

Mother Teresa Syndrome (MTS)

Mother Teresa Syndrome (MTS) defined as when a person feels compassionate and empathetic for short period of time.
Mr. Scrooge usually doesn't like to help people out. I think he has Mother Teresa Syndrome (MTS).

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
