The ol' Minty Stewart

A phrase with multiple meanings, all of which obvious depending on the context. For example, if you've been snubbed or blanked by someone, then they've served you up a right ol' Minty steward. Additionally, it may refer to something utterly stupid, for example, if you were standing on a box to get something heavy off a ledge, you may well be performing the ol' Minty Stewart, or if you've decided to place a slice of garlic under your foot at night to detox, then that may well be the ol' Minty Stewart. Finally, it may refer to a prank or scheme in motion, particularly if it's not well thought out.
1) "I messaged Andrew last night about that money he owes me, but I got nothing. He's served me up a right ol' Minty Stewart"
2) "Did you hear about Alice the other day? She was trying to make her nails dry faster using her hair straighteners. Didn't hear what happened after, but it sounds like the makings of a right ol' Minty Stewart"
3)

Person 1:"Terry just bought a drone and now he thinks he's a film maker, come have a look"
Person 2:"ah, the ol' Minty Stewart"
4)

Person 1: "We just switched out Gary's car's engine for his lawnmower motor, this is going to be hilarious and easy to fix afterwards"
Person 2:"ah, the ol' Minty stewart"

Utility beer

Utility beer is the beer you keep around for the day-to-day moments when beer is a necessity to assist in pedestrian activities (golf, plumbing, yardwork, babysitting, staff meetings, Zoom calls). For the beer snob it is the beer you save for neighbors when they drop in at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday. It is differentiated from the actual high-end beer you save for special events, holidays, and special tastings.
Person 1: Dave, did you bring along those hazy craft IPA's so we could drink while cleaning Lyle's pool?
Person 2: Nope. I just have a bunch of utility beer that Steve dumped on me. Good enough for this. It is only 10:30 a.m.
