The Stare 

When one of homosexuality or bisexuality have a short or lingering stare that is neither awkward nor inviting. This may occur between all sorts of genders including straight people within the different contexts. One may just look one's way and get caught in a gaze. Trust me when you do "the stare" you will know it. It's like a calling card without words or sounds, but a flirtation of the eyes so subtle that it's almost transparent. Usually done between two people who are in the closet which almost inevitably result in them finding each other. If someone in the closet does the stare with a straight person, usually negative reactions are implied.

Mark: I think Jimmy is gay, or at least bisexual
John: How do you know?

An ability bestowed only upon those of the Harper bloodline. Involving intricate positioning of the facial muscles and eyes, the Harper Stare has the ability to strike fear into the hearts of men and women alike. It is said that those who fall victim to the Harper Stare become immediately immobilized mentally. Bravery turns to cowardice. Victory instantly turns to defeat. The Sarandon Stare 

In reference to the original 1985 film Fright Night, where actor Chris Sarandon as Jerry Dandrige woos the character Amy at Club Radio.

THE SARANDON STARE is what you give a chick when your game is top level, and immediate success is the result, meaning a sure no loss scenario that you're getting laid that night. ---it's meant to be facetious of course, not serious.
