The Poet and The Poem

This connection hit me out of nowhere. I never imagined a bond like this was possible, something that goes so far beyond the physical, unexplainable and terrifyingly beautiful.

Meeting someone who mirrors your soul feels unreal. It is the relief of finally being seen, understood, and loved without having to explain yourself. And the most profound part is knowing that you feel it too, that this is reciprocal. Because of that, I simply do not believe that what we share can ever be extinguished. Not today, not years from now. I cannot and will not accept that we met just to become strangers again.

Sometimes I wish our lives had intertwined sooner, yet I understand the timing was actually perfect. We found one another at the precise moment our hearts were ready for something strong, deep, and true. We became each other’s quiet miracle. Every step we took led us here, to this once-in-a-lifetime alignment.

You are the poet, and I am the poem. You know my soul like no one else ever could, and no one else will ever understand the bond we hold. How could I not want you? I long for your love, your attention, your passion. I want you to consume me, just as I consume you.

Today I missed you so much and it doesn’t matter on which day you read this, the truth remains the same.
Him: "I have to let you go, it's code 123."
Her: "No. We are not a countdown. We are The Poet and The Poem. The story doesn't end here."

P.S. Why did you change your signature? Who are you answering to, if not to us?

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."

Hair spider

A tight, tangled knot of loose hair and lint that forms inside clothing during the clothes dryer cycle. It typically hides inside garments, causing an annoying lump or a phantom tickling sensation against the skin until it is found or falls out onto the floor during folding.
