Sstepteam (noun — music genre / vibe)

Origin: A sound / style developed by Maajins and Rexv2 (and maybe their crew) — a signature blend of experimental beats + underground rap/hip‑hop sensibilities.

Hard‑hitting, chaotic, off‑kilter beats — like trap but twisted: unpredictable drum patterns, strange rhythms, weird textures.

Raw energy, “underground‑trap gone sideways” feel — gritty, unpolished, heavy on atmosphere or mood rather than polish.

Often “street‑raw,” rebellious, hyped-up — built for late‑night energy, hype sessions, or those who want something different from mainstream.

When you call something “Sstepteam”:

You’re talking about a track or style that hits like a gut‑punch but ain’t clean.

It’s got that underground‑sound swagger and experimental/trap‑driven recklessness — drums might bounce weird, vocals aggressive or distorted, vibe moody or menacing.

Steptember

Occurs in the month of September, when individuals cut lines(steps) into their hair. The steps can travel any direction over the head, and the number is only limited by the amount of hair spouting from your cranium. This month is a good lead up to Movember. Generally the more steps and crazier the design, the more acceptance and envy from your fellow Steptembrians.
Yo Rangi, this year I am going to get my barber to cut some circle steps for Steptember, how about you bro?

Famous Celebrity steps include Rapper Vanilla Ice, of Ice Ice Baby fame.

The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
