Splinter Cell

The best stealth series of all time tied with Thief. Chaos Theory is the best. It is also the cure for cancer and aids.

Splinter Cell

A once mighty espionage series of computer games, mainly focused on Microsoft's Xbox & Xbox 360 consoles, but which eventually seen them ported to all formats.

The series was finally destroyed when a 'Splinter Group' of a once well respected games company, Ubisoft~Toronto, got their hands on the franchise, fired well respected uniquely voiced Canadian actor, Michael Ironside {"See You At Da'Part'E, Richt'a!"}, and changed the series' legendary formula to stay on par and cater to the Call Of Duty, Assassin's Creed & Uncharted fan-boys.

Splinter Cell's are extremely highly trained combat effective individuals, who are secretly deployed on very dangerous or politically sensitive combat missions, to neutralise various threats to United States interests, and perform deniable operations of many types.

The most famous Splinter Cell to ever have lived is one known as Samuel {Sam} Fisher.
Kid Gamer:

"Ah yo! This shit is off the walls! Splinter Cell: Blacklist is it called? Awesome! I loved that other one too, Conviction was it? Hated them older ones where you had to sneak about in shadows all the time. I just wanna shoot stuff. Who cares if his voice and appearance is different and he looks younger, it's all about the fast paced game-play. I'm glad its more like Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed and Call Of Duty now! Pre-ordered it! Can't wait!"

Older Seasoned Hard-Core Splinter Cell fan:

"Kid...Get The Fuck Off this forum, right now. And go get hit by a bus you little COD playing faggot cunt."

Splinter Cell

One of the greatest video game series of this generation. Splinter Cell revolves around you (Sam Fisher) going on espionage missions for the NSA. The actually stories are a bit complicated I don't even stand all of it myself but I don't play games for stories.

Unlike most game series, this one gets better with each release. Comparing it to MGS is just silly, they are two amazing franchises.

Chaos Theory (3rd of the series, not counting the shitty handheld versions) is one of my favorite games ever. It eliminates all the trial and error of the first two and really makes it much more enjoyable(I've beaten it 7 times already). It's so flexible and flat out amazing in terms of everything that makes a game good. Good graphics, amazing soundtrack, deep and flexible gameplay, and replayiblity. Don't get me started on how amazing the multiplayer is because words don't do it justice. It's so genious yet so underrated.
Splinter Cell games so far:

Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Splinter Cell: Double Agent

The new one (Double Agent) is due out very soon. It will own your soul.

The Splinter Cell

The art of Splinter Cell-ing involves entering a cubicle and graciously performing a dump, without touching the surrounding toilet floor or the toilet itself. This can be performed as a simple one-person challenge, or be used as a practical joke by remaining off the floor undetected until the next user of said cubicle enters and the surprise is released.
Jake: I just used the toilet, and felt a dripping on my head, I looked up to see Sam Fisher himself about to shit on my head
Steve: That's the best performance of The Splinter Cell ever!

splinter cell

An agent who has the freedom to eliminate any threat he perceives in any manner he sees fit.

Usually such agents are covered by "plausible deniability" - the agent is told what his job is, but not through the normal chain of command, so that the orders are not recorded. This way, if the agent is captured or killed, the government who sent the agent can claim that he was a rogue agent, acting without official orders or permission.

splinter cell

One of the few true stealth games on the market. Popular, but still underrated really. Brought us something new for a change (Spy vs Merc multiplayer) and really fun co-op (Chaos Theory).
Casual gamers love to dispute over Splinter Cell and MGS. One popular argument being "he has 3 green lights on his head how can the dumb guards not see him?!". It is widely known that that is Sam's trademark, the guards don't actually see it. A better comparison might be Splinter Cell and Thief.

splinter cell

The technical definition of being a splinter cell means working alone, being invisible, and using agility and wits to infiltrate enemy compounds to achieve your goals. A splinter cell also has the right to exercise the "Fifth Freedom" - vaguely described as ability to eliminate any threat as seen fit without question.
