The period during the first 10 years of the 21st Century when the United States and Western Europe experienced severe financial mismanagement, executed dubious Middle East military expeditions, and purchased goods from foreign countries with unbounded borrowed money.

Squandering slut bag 

Someone who wastefully uses a genuinely precious person without recognition of their selfish actions. This person could be considered greedy and in the act of doing so, offends their victim.
These people are percieved by the general public as sweet or charming but are actually disguising their greedy nature by their good looks and fake persona.
