One-Socking

Akin to the feeling of leaving the house wearing only one sock

1) When you only accomplish half of your intended purpose and are left in an embarrassing situation
2) When you finish a job poorly
I definitely one-socked (past tense) that essay, I hope it goes well.

I've really been one-socking it at the nuclear weapon factory. Hopefully my habit of one-socking doesn't bring about a premature end of the world.

Cousins with MBTI, however, they do not want to associate with one another. Probably a pseudoscience.

Socionics claims there to be 8 information elements (IMEs) and 16 types. These 16 types of information metabolism(TIMs) interact with one another in 16 ways.

Each TIM possesses all 8 IMEs, in different slots in their cognition. They value certain IMEs above others, and they are stronger in certain IMEs than others.

These 16 types are also divided into 4 quadra of 4, each sharing the same valued IMEs. Those who share a quadra are where long term relations are most likely to flourish. They are the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta Quadra.

Warning: Socionics is rather complex. Please do not try at home. Unless you want to. Then maybe you can.
IEE: Hey guys guys guys I found this socionics thingy
ILE: I know that! You going to run off in search of your SLI boyfriend now?
IEE: Hey! Not funny!

sock on the doorknob

Tying a sock on a doorknob to signify to others that you are inside the room having sex. You do this as an international sign to say: do not enter. If you do, you will regret it and I will be embarrassed.
Sometimes called a doorsock
My roommate saw the sock on the doorknob, so they knew I was in there having fun with my partner.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
