A word which is used in Norway to say talk to you later. "Snakkes" is the Norwegian word, and is kind of similar. It is common to end unofficial messages (such as texts and instant messaging) with the word "sneiks". The word can also be used verbally to end a conversation. After the movie "Snakes on a Plane" it became popular to use differnt twists of this word such as "Sneiks on a Plane to Bermuda" (very dry humor).

Norwegian: ok, vi sneiks
English: alright, we'll sneiks

An exclamation of excitement, terror, or annoyance. Also, a watered-down version of holy shit.

A euphenisim for the word shit. Used commonly to describe a wtf situation where one person exclaims loudly a sense of suprise, or astonishment at an occurence of events. Like something exploding at your feet

A: WEEEEEEEEE (yelled as going down roller coaster)
OH SNIKES JIM GOT KILLED BY THE SIGN

B: dude I friggin hate our boss
oh snikes, there he is. (gulps and wrings out collar)

this is an exclamation that is normally yelled. it is used when something really good or something really bad happens.

when something good happens way-
kid:hey man i just got a new car
his friend:oh snikes!

when something bad happens-
kid:man my dad just died
his friend:oh snikes!
