Slopie refers to someone that flies Radio Control gliders on a slope. For decades, RC enthusiasts have flown their rc gliders off cliffs and mountains where the prevailing wind will hit the slope and cause the air to rise, giving the gliders lift. Many of these slopes can be found along the coast lines of countries and also in the mountains inland.
Bob has been flying slope gliders for many years. He is a real Slopie.

Slopfest 

A muddy mess fest of games involving massive amounts of water and mud. Mud sports (ie football), obstacle course, pig sty, mud pits.
We dug up the field, with a firehose we soaked the entire thing and then the Slopfest ensued.

The correct term for a ski jump on aircraft carriers. Used by has-been navies that can’t afford catapults (see Admiral Kuznetsov). Bri’ish “people” citation needed will insist that they’re actually called “champ ramps”. Ignore them.
