Shulmanesque

When someone in a position of authority (usually educational) does something completely unexpected which may be perceived as positive or negative depending on the person affected by the action.

Student 1: I spent three hours doing the homework she assigned last night and she didn’t even collect it at the end of class! What a waste of time!
Student 2: Ugh! That is so shulmanesque of her!

One who knows the way of the shaman but lives no where near the origins of his or her teachings.

That guy had much to say as he was very shamanesque.
