A formidable man who says what he means, expects others to do the same and is disinclined to tolerate discourteous behavior from others.

The term first entered the popular lexicon following the release of the film "Cadillac Man". In the film, the character of Larry (played by Tim Robbins) is holding a group of people hostage. He releases some of the hostages, but instructs them to tell the police that "I'm a no-shit guy." The hostages then run from the building one by one, screaming "He's a no-shit guy!"

"Jimmy's a no-shit guy, he told me he'd be here, and so he'll be here."

"Whatever you promised Mike, you'd better deliver. He's a no-shit guy."

A reply given to someone who wishes for something because a part of their life is unfair, basically stating that life is full of good and bad things. In essence, wishes mean nothing.

This is the earliest version of the saying, with the reference to Germans eating shit coming from American soldiers in WWII.

Shit Guy

When someone doesn’t follow the Official Rule Book that was developed for their own success so that the person who cares about them doesn’t just peace out and give up on them. The shitty person always has some kind of excuse why they didn’t do something and never awknowledges their shittiness until their actions are brought to their attention. I guess the only way to fix shittiness is to strike every time they are shitty 🤷🏻 ♀️ Maybe juan day they’ll get the hint!?
