Schulle is usually served before, while and after eating

" Pommes Schranke " (fries with ketchup and mayonaise).

The Great Mumps Scandal of Schull

This refers to the time when the whole of West Cork was stricken with the mumps. Beginning in Ballycumisk near the rural town of Schull, the mumps soon spread, i infecting all the local youth who are known to shift eachother. The mumps caused wreck amongst family and friends, even crippling the local football team Gabriel Rangers. A truly horrific time for this historic village.
