Older military gear (mostly clothes) which is now being sold on civilian market. Usually issued and worn but sometimes also brand new.

Dude, check out this stuff! It's a really great military jacket and it was dirt cheap since it's surplus.

I got a new Gizmondo for 100 pounds and I would have paid up to 200 so I had a lot of consumer surplus. That company has a monopoly so they jack up the prices to erode my consumer surplus.
