Rule 708 states to never go back to an ex-partner. They’re an ex for a reason, no apology or “life-changing” event will change that fact that you both hated each other for some time after you split. That hatred will always be there and you’ll both hold the breakup against each other even if you don’t realize it. The relationship the second time around isn’t love, it’s lust.
