Oo Leauh n' Quie Leauh

Oo Leauh and Quie Leauh, the legendary duo, were born of ancient prophecies, their destinies entwined like the most intricate tapestry. Oo Leauh, the harbinger of dawn, possessed a radiant aura that could banish even the darkest of shadows. With a voice that could command the elements themselves, she was revered as the living embodiment of hope. On the other hand, Quie Leauh, the enigmatic nightshade, wielded the power of shadows and silence, capable of slipping through the most impenetrable defenses without a trace. Together, they were an unstoppable force, balancing the cosmic scales with their complementary abilities. Bound by an unbreakable oath, they roamed the world, defending it from threats both otherworldly and mortal. Their saga, a testament to the eternal dance between light and darkness, continues to inspire generations, forever etching their names into the annals of legend. A duo of Yin and Yang.

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
