political science

Political science: The study of politics; the study dates back to Plato and even Hammurabi and arguably even taught in the animal kingdoms in animal hierarchies. History, philosophy, religion, and law were historically the main topics of study in political science. Modern political science studies political behavior through survey samples of a population, controlled experiments, and other data collection methods that can be statistically analyzed.
Bob: "What did you study in college."
Tom: "Political Science"
Bob: "Oh, basket weaving, ha ha ha."
Tom: "It's not basket weaving; it's law, fool!"

Political Science

The psychological manipulation of large masses of people in order to gain power, wealth, and control individuals, in order to satisfy one's self-centered sense of entitlement and greed.
Politicians use of half-truths and lies on sensitive issues which divide the public are examples of political science at work.

Political Science

A joke. No such science exists on the known earth. It was once believe to have existed during a short period in history. REAL science has disproven this and now "Political Science" is deemed a hoax. It stands alongside other famous hoaxes/jokes like the sasquatch, tuition cuts, and Ralph Nader.
Political Science is a joke. There are people who study political science. What does it say about them?

Political Science

Best program at the University of Ottawa. Highly motivated and ambitious students study Poli Sci. Students in this program are thinkers and are very effective at reasoning; they don't just memorize definitons and write them word for word on an exam. Students in this program are the leaders of tomorrow. Political Science students are hardcore political junkies and value CPAC and CBC Newsworld. They also get really annoyed when the media says that young people aren't voting because ALL POLI SCI STUDENTS VOTE..WOOT WOOT! Many political science students at uottawa are part of the PSSA, the poli sci student association. If you're part of this group you're cool....if you're not, people will feel bad for you
Derrick: Hey are you in the PSSA?
Random: No I'm not.
Derrick: Aww, I'm sorry, that sucks.

Poli Sci student: What are you writing?
Business student: My mathematical calculations & formulas.
Poli Sci student: We don't DO math in Political Science....Well, I'm off to meet the Prime Minister for lunch......later.
Business student: I should switch programs.

Political Social Science

A personal thought of mine that everybody, no matter what race, or ethnicity, starts out equal. It is that individuals' choice, or fault to practice things that make them appear better, or worse in public society, thus making Politically Correctness wrong. For that people say that you should be nice to everybody for they're all equal, but those people they tell you to be nice to might of done something to lose respect that earns them some forms of chastisement.
Be nice to this Black guy.
No, he got arrested for robbing a store, so he doesn't deserve as much respect. Political Social Science, my friend.

Political Problem of Science

The inherent corruption that occurs when the institution of science is conflated with the scientific method. This is the transformation of science from a process of open, fallible inquiry into a political entity—a state-sanctioned authority that gets to definitively regulate what is considered "objective" and, by extension, "moral." The problem arises when the label "scientific" is wielded not as a descriptor of methodology, but as a cudgel of power to silence dissent, marginalize non-hegemonic worldviews (by labeling them "pseudoscience"), and enforce a single, materialist ontology as the only valid reality. In this politicized state, defending science devolves into a fundamentalist posture of declaring everything else "non-science," creating an empty, negative identity more concerned with gatekeeping authority than with understanding the world. It's when the priesthood in lab coats cares more about protecting the temple's power than pursuing messy, unpredictable truth.
Example: "When the public health agency's messaging shifted from 'here is the evolving data on masks' to 'any questioning of our mandates is anti-science pseudoscience,' they showcased the Political Problem of Science. The method—tentative, evidence-based—was replaced by the institution's need for unquestioned authority, turning a public health tool into a political loyalty test."
