When you do not allow your players to skate across the blue line with the puck and force them to play dump and chase. Also, no one is allowed to pass to the point even if they are wide open.

The points are wide open and they are not passing to them? They are forced in playing a Philbin.

Jesus, that player just dumped the puck on a breakaway? The coach is forcing them to pull a Philbin!

Philbin’s are real wacky. Gotta watch out for them late night stealing your clams and your girl. Can usually catch them in the wild at their favorite dining spot hillstone eating all of the artichoke’s so no one else can. You’ll know someone is a philbin if they have a great bit going and are constantly taking pictures of their meal for their finstagram account. Might also have an expired passport and car with a boot on it on any given day of the week.
