The process whereby one abstains from listening to the sweet sounds of Phish for at least 72 hours preceding a Phish show. If one does this, enlightenment can be reached during or after the show.

Glen: "Dude, why are you playing the String Cheese Incident? I need some Phish."

Al: "I'm going to Phish on Friday, brethren. No Phish until Phish. We're phasting."

My brother was making some goofy faces at the dinner table, and I described him as pescatine, not knowing it's not a word.

She stood there opening and closing her mouth in a pescatine manner, searching for a suitable response.
