Ozarks

The Ozarks (also referred to as Ozarks Mountain Country, the Ozark Mountains, and the Ozark Plateau) are a physiographic and geologic highland region of the central United States. It covers much of the southern half of Missouri and an extensive portion of northwestern and north central Arkansas. The region also extends westward into northeastern Oklahoma and extreme southeastern Kansas.

It is used in slang to mean somewhere that is particularly hillbilly-esque, remote, or home to rednecks. Think of the movie "Deliverance." If you are in the Ozarks, you WILL be raped by hillbillies.

Lake of the Ozarks

A place where millions of people come through in the summer, and none come through in the other three seasons. Known for the summer parties, drinking, and the Lake itself. Largest man- made lake in the mid-west. Popular for it's bars and Party Cove the well known water drunk fest.

College of the Ozarks

A school full of authority figures high on power and the ability to control students who are brainwashed into thinking they are getting a free education when in fact they are paying for their schooling by working 280 hours a semester as well as handing over various freedoms such as their right to dress as they please, the ability to drive their car and restraining from alcohol, proclaiming sexual orientation, sex and other various behaviors. Students will get kicked out of school if any of the college's rules are broken, leaving the student feeling stripped of all selfworth.
