Over and Over

Well, I went to a dance just the other night
Everybody there was there
I said over and over and over again
This dance is gonna be a drag
I said over and over and over again
This dance is gonna be a drag
I said over and over and over again
This dance is gonna be a drag

All at once it happened
The prettiest in the world
I said a-won't you come over and a-talk to me
And be my girl
I said a-won't you come over and a-talk to me
And be my girl
I said a-won't you come over and a-talk to me
And be my girl

She said she was sorry
And I was a little bit late
She would a-wait and a-wait and a-wait and a-wait
For her steady date
She would a-wait and a-wait and a-wait and a-wait
For her steady date
She would a-wait and a-wait and a-wait and a-wait
For her steady date

I said over and over and over again
This dance is gonna be a drag

Over and Over

If you suck at something you have to get good at it by doing it over and over again. People might just want to say practice makes perfect but this terms used for something you don't like but have to get good at.
Chad father: Opens the door. "You making your man proud?"
Son that's bad at everything: "I just can't get good at this game! No matter how many times I repeat this boss over and over again.. and over, and over, and over, and over- You know this game's trash I'm out." The son drops the controller jumps out of his rooms window to run away and live on the streets forever.

Over and over again

It happens all too often. You meet someone and you think you have each been touched by the same star. Then what started as love turns into an annoyance, lack of patience, sometimes anger and sometimes hate. Or you might just have a feeling of being controlled or find yourself experiencing moments of profound emptiness.
Over and over again we do this ending a relationship is painful, but facing the truth will set you free
