Sophistry or pilpul used by Eastern Orthodox Christians, most commonly Western converts (also known as McOrthodox), to appear smarter and more knowledgeable than you, to denote and convey that they belong to their newly joined group (Eastern Orthodox) and generally to confuse and intimidate you by using a lot of big words usually of Greek or Slavic origin. Orthobros orthobabbling always lead to them engaging in presuppositional apologetics, which boils down to them refusing to advance the argument unless you agree with them first. Once you come at this impasse whatever you do, agree or disagree, they will declare victory, usually to the cheers of other McOrthodoxy converts.

Example:
Orthobro: "Hey man did you go to Pascha? You gotta have communion with the divine Logos if you wanna achieve theosis bro! You don't wanna be in prelest, so you have to be in podvig."

You: "Pascha? Don't you mean Easter? Wtf talk normally you aren't Greek."

Orthobro: "Haha, nah man, it's called Pascha."
I can't listen to anymore of Jay Dyer's orthobabble!
